Welcome to the Latest Cross Stitch Patterns Blog

I guess I have to admit it...I collect cross stitch patterns. I have more than I will ever be able to stitch in a lifetime but that still doesn't keep me from wanting to see all the newest patterns. While some of the big distributors, like Hoffman's, feature a weekly list of new patterns, there are many other designers not affiliated with Hoffman's who are producing incredible designs. Especially in Europe and Asia. My goal is to introduce what I find to others, in one convenient spot. The blog will be updated every Saturday, with numerous patterns and information on where to find them.

If you are aware of any designers who you think aren't reaching a wide enough audience, please let me know!

And now for my first find:

Here is a picture of "A Quaker Christmas" by ByGone Stitches. As most of us dedicated stitchers know, Quaker motifs are very popular right now. This is one of the prettiest ones I have seen. As a matter of fact, I added it to my personal stash as soon as I saw it on the Web! I am not very familiar with the designer, but upon searching found that they are distributed by Stitching Pretty Presents, a brick and mortar as well as internet on-line store, based in Laurel Maryland. Upon searching the website though I could not find the sampler, but did see other designs by ByGone Stitches. The store website is http://www.stitchingpretty.com/ . The design measures 320w x 205h and the model is done in Crescent Colors and stitched on 28ct French Cashmere from Wichelt. I believe the retail price is $12.00, which is a real bargain for such a large and complicated Quaker pattern.
I actually purchased my copy at http://www.123stitch.com/, one of my favorite on-line stores!

What a great idea! I'm not a fan of Quaker patterns, but I can't wait to see what you find next.
